The judges have weighed in, and we're excited to formally share the news!
We have our final winners:
- 3 x Best-of-the-Rest Winners: Ecora, Receipt Vault & Solara Vision — Receives CAD $200 each
- Third place winner: Sukshm — Receives CAD $400 in prize funding
- Second place winner : Sucrosoil — Receives CAD $500 in prize funding
- First place/ GRAND PRIZE winner: Best Life ceives CAD $1K, congrats!!

Please go the gallery of our 2024 Climate Change-Makers Challenge Devpost to congratulate + check out these & our other wonderful submissions... It really was such an terrific set of projects, and have a feeling that many of these are going to make real impact, cannot wait to see folks turn these #Ideas2Action.
And regardless what might happen to a specific project, you folks have each inspired us with your dedication, resolved & passion for change. Indeed, if there was a word that we'd use to describe our 2024 batch, it is RESILIENCE, as we saw so many teams persist to put in submissions/ finals presentations despite challenges. Whether having limited internet coverage in rural Nigeria. Or dealing with power cuts in Pakistn. Or cyclones and storms in the Bay of Bengal. Or issues accessing Zoom for our winner in Zimbabwe. Or emergency circumstances with teammates for multiple North American teams (when one is down, others stepped up)... There were so many stories that moved us, and yet people SHOWED UP to participate.
So to all as we close things: Please keep being you. Keep challenging the status quo. Keep persisting no matter how hard this climate fight seems. Keep thinking up those ideas that we'll need to move the needle for a better climate. Have a feeling that you are each destined to change the world.
We'll stay in touch with further updates (some last logistics + a potential CCM alumni Slack channel + one more optional reflection call on "What's Next?"for folks figuring our their next steps or wanting to share in some final convo's), although most of this will be on Slack. So keep an eye there (LINK if not joined)!
