T-2 Days to Our Opening (Friday @ 9 PM EDT): Who's Ready!?
Hello to our 2024 Climate Change-Makers,
It's almost here... T-2 Days to the Opening of Our 51-hour ideathon!!Our teams at the OATHE Project, Youth Impact Challenge & EarthNet are SO excited, and have been busy finalizing many details behind the scenes. But we are happy to share OUR AGENDA FOR THE WEEKEND, which will be chalk full of workshops, networking, mentorship, prizes & a very real opportunity to begin creating the world's next big climate innovation... Significant efforts were made in scheduling to have times spread out to be accessible to different time zones. We cannot wait to meet you all & learn about the brilliant ideas you come up with, our past challenges were such a blast :)
Important note: The OPENING CEREMONY IS @ 9 PM EST = 1 AM GMT = 6:30 PM IST. Link has been sent as a Calendar invite on Zoom, and those available are STRONGLY asked to attend if they can.
In particular, the opening gives a good background of the challenge, our expectations/ requirements of you + info on our four challenge themes. We will also be joined by guest speakers Lisa Chen (Canada), Megan Rourtbort (USA), Muhammad Inaamullah (Pakistan) & Rifat Anik (Bangladesh), four of the most incredible youth climate innovators you will meet. Teams attending the opening and future workshops also get BONUS POINTS for each event they attend (more on this later), so yet another reason to come down. Those who cannot make it should message us for a recording afterwards.
