Saturday's Mentor Bookings Open (First Come, First Serve - Book Soon)!

Hello Climate Change-Makers,

Mentor bookings for Saturday, May 11th are officially OPEN!!

Six other notes of relevance:

  • First, read profiles & descriptions of each mentor are provided in the booking link. Please give this a review to see who might fit your needs the best. We have a very broad diversity of mentors, ranging from across the world, multiple industries, ages, innovation histories, etc.
  • Second, know that mentors are booked on a "first come, first serve" basis... Our mentors are available for 30-minute connects over very limited time slots. Book fast is my advice :)
  • Third, each team can initially book only one mentor slot per day, at least until 10 AM EDT. IF there are still slots available at that time, we may allow teams to book a second. This is to ensure that all our 15+ teams have a chance to conenct with a mentor if they want to.
  • Fourth, teams can get a bonus point if taking advantage of mentorship. Ultimately though, it is your choice whether you engage in this support or not. These are some ridiculously great mentors & highly suggest to take advantage of their knowledge.
  • Fifth, mentors will be connected with you on Slack. It is essential therefore that your team is on the channel there. This helps to support communication and resource sharing. You are also responsible to provide them with a meeting link once you they get added to your team channel.
  • Finally, come to mentor meetings prepared. It is okay if your team is figuring things out, but have some questions to ask the mentors so they can guide you. Really know their backgrounds & ask for specific help (e.g. potential connections). Be open-minded to their feedback.
