Welcome to Day 3!
Hello everyone and welcome to Day 3 of the 2024 Climate Change-Makers Challenge!
We have a day packed full of some wonderful events and workshops for y'all ahead. As always, the link for the Day can be found on our events schedule (See the #resources-and-events channel in Slack for the schedule containing the link). We will be doing our best to record each of the workshops for those unable to attend. Each of the workshops attended today is eligible for bonus points and Games Night has prizes available to win too!
Our first session: Starting with Why & Getting Together Your 4 Minute Video starts in 30 minutes (4:30 am EDT, 8:30 am GMT, 2 pm IST) and is centered around communicating your purpose, digging into our judging rubric, as well as getting advice on your pitch. There will be a repeat of this session offered at 1 pm EDT (5 pm GMT, 10:30 am IST) for those unable to attend the first offering.
Next up after we have our second session: Peer Review Session and Office Hours with the Organizers which is a great opportunity to get a second pair of eyes on your project as well as advice from your peers and the organizers. This session is being held at 6:30 am EDT (10:30 pm GMT, 4 pm IST).
Our third session is an important conversation on environmental justice! This session is called Discussing Environmental Jusitce. It is being held at 10 am EDT (2 pm GMT, and 7:30 pm IST). Highly recommend attending this one as it will be lead by a truly inspiring speaker who is very passionate about many of the themes we have been discussing over the course of this weekend.
To round off the day we have Games Night which I highly recommend attending! Anyone who attended last night can tell you how much of a blast it was and was super informative too! It is being held at 8 pm EDT (12 am GMT, and 5:30 IST).
As always feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions and keep an eye on the Slack and the Devpost for updates throughout the day!
Hope to see you all at some of the sessions today (Here is the link).!
